PROCESS ENGINEER (CS PKG, PCB MANUFACTURING)

Job Summary

The Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing CS PKG, PCB manufacturing processes to ensure high efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

MAIN DUTIES

1. Process Development & Control

• Develop and define process parameters for PCB manufacturing stages (Drill, Litho, Final Inspection, Solder Resist, Solder on Pad, Lamination, Cu Plating, Au Plating)
• Establish and maintain process control plans and documentation (SOPs, WI, PFMEA, Control Plan).
• Support NPI (New Product Introduction) - review customer Gerber/fab data, create routing, and prepare process setup.
• Validate new equipment and materials through process capability studies and trial runs.

2. Process Improvement

• Monitor key process indicators (yield, scrap, cycle time) and drive improvement actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects
• Implement SPC (Statistical Process Control) and continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Technical Support

• Provide daily technical support to production teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and production departments to ensure stable operations.
• Train operators and technicians on standard procedures and process changes.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all processes meet IPC, ISO, and customer-specific standards.
• Participate in internal/external audits and corrective actions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Material, Chemical… Engineering

• Have experience in related fields

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Proficient in Autocad, Solidwork 3D or other layout, 2D, 3D drawing software.

• Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, applies to analysis and reporting.

• Fluent in English, especially in listening and speaking.

• Hands-on, proactive, and quick-learning working style.
